The Right to Privacy

Although traditionally United Kingdom law as not had a free standing ‘right to privacy’, there are a number of laws which protect your privacy. Since the coming to force of the Human Rights Act 1998, the law has developed and individuals have significantly greater scope to use the law to protect their privacy.
