Disability Discrimination: Trades Unions and Trade Associations
The Disability Discrimination Act makes unlawful discrimination by trade organisations, which includes trade unions, organisations of employees, and organisations whose members carry out a particular trade or profession.
The Disability Discrimination Act prohibits discrimination in the terms upon which such an organisation is prepared to admit you to membership, and the refusal to accept an application for membership from you.
